Yahui LYU

Founder

Lyu is an artist and researcher exploring digital fabrication and transformable structures. With a Ph.D.(Interdisciplinary Information Studies) from the University of Tokyo, and prior training at Tokyo University of the Arts and the China Central Academy of Fine Arts, his work moves between disciplines — merging handcraft and technology. His research has been presented at CHI, CAADRIA, and SDF, and his works have been shown at venues such as LVMH Métiers d’Art – La Main，Ars Electronica Festival，Have a Nice TOKYO!.

Junwei AO

Co-Founder

Ao is a designer and researcher working at the intersection of architecture, digital fabrication, and human-computer interaction. He holds a master’s degree from the University of Tokyo, with prior training at Tokyo University of the Arts and Dalian Minzu University. He has worked at internationally renowned firms including Junya.ishigami+associates, nendo, Archetype, and LWK + PARTNERS. His projects range from boutique stores and exhibitions to large-scale commercial developments, with a focus on space, material, and interaction.

Shuai SHAO

Co-Founder

Shao is a researcher specializing in architectural history, urban planning, and heritage conservation. With a Ph.D. from Hosei University and prior studies at Tokyo University of the Arts and Beijing University of Technology, his work integrates urban history with contemporary residential planning. Shuai’s research has been featured in leading journals such as the Japan Architectural Review and the Journal of Architecture and Planning, and he actively contributes to various academic forums, including the Architectural Institute of Japan.
